The multicore countdown to Intel Developer Forum (IDF)

Now we’re in September, there’s about a week and a half until the developer community gathers once more in San Francisco to hear the latest technology updates from Intel. Intel Developer Forum takes place between 13 and 15 September, and I’ll be reporting from the conference and keynotes as I did last year.

There is an extensive programme of keynotes and talks available, so I thought I’d flag up those that I thought would be of most interest to readers of this blog (ie, those  that have relevance to parallel programming and software optimisation, plus the keynotes). If I’ve missed something that you’re looking forward to, please feel free to let me know in the comments so that other readers can benefit too. It’s a massive programme, so it’s quite possible I’ve overlooked something.
